YOUR FIRST APPLICATION · 7 STEPS

From a job link
to ready to review.

Follow the real workflow without needing to learn the whole app. YourMove helps prepare; you submit on the employer's website.

Documentation preview · Release verification pending

This workflow follows reviewed application source. Exact screens, compatibility and transfer results must be checked against the public release candidate before launch.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Start with one job you actually want.

Have its employer posting URL, the résumé you want to use, and your own work-history details available. AI writing assistance is optional, not a prerequisite.

There is not yet a generally qualified notarized Mac installer in the reviewed release baseline. Check availability and release requirements.

01 / OPPORTUNITIES

Save the job link.

Open Opportunities. Select Add opportunity, enter the employer's posting URL, then select Save opportunity. Open the saved job to continue.

Adding a batch?

Use Import multiple job URLs, with one URL per line (up to 50). Duplicate URLs are skipped. Importing stores the links; it doesn't automatically retrieve every posting's details.

Check: the opportunity appears in your saved list.

02 / JOB DETAILS

Check what was retrieved.

Review the saved job. Use posting checks when available to retrieve supported job information, then compare key details with the employer's page. Edit and save missing or incorrect information manually.

Check: the title, company, and other details you intend to use are accurate. A successful posting check is not proof that a role remains open.

03 / DOCUMENTS

Pick the résumé for this job.

Under Documents, import a PDF or DOCX up to 10 MiB if necessary. Return to the opportunity, select the intended résumé, and use Save resume to persist the selection.

Check: the saved job shows the intended résumé. A master designation is not an instruction to upload that document to every employer.

04 / PREPARE

Make your answers your own.

Review the candidate profile and approve the facts you want to use for contact fields. Prepare relevant answers and an optional cover letter. Save edits before attempting a transfer.

Read this before you fill.

A saved profile draft and an approved profile are different states. Answers previewed early may not include later or conditional questions. You remain responsible for checking everything.

05 / EMPLOYER FORM

Inspect first. Fill only what you've approved.

Open the employer form in YourMove's browser workflow. Inspect its fields, choose the information or attachments you authorize, and use the available fill action. Look at the transfer results and the employer's actual form.

Check: the right document is attached, fields contain the right values, and nothing essential is missing. Unsupported controls are completed directly on the employer site.

06 / YOUR DECISION

You review. You submit.

Read the employer form carefully, including any demographic, work authorization, consent, or follow-up questions. Correct any mistakes. When satisfied, submit the application yourself using the employer's submission control.

Don't confuse these events.

YourMove filling fields is not employer acceptance. YourMove recording an application is not employer submission. Look for the employer's own confirmation.

07 / YOUR RECORDS

Record what happened.

After confirming submission on the employer site, use YourMove's completion or submission record flow to mark the outcome locally. Check the history associated with the correct job.

Check: the correct opportunity shows your recorded outcome and associated materials.

NEXT / IF SOMETHING DIDN'T WORK

Don't restart unless you have to.

Saved local preparation may remain available even when a browser session ends.
