A NOTE FROM THE PERSON BUILDING IT
THE JOB SEARCH
IS ENOUGH
WORK.
I'm Joshua Jenks. I started building YourMove while looking for work myself. I had the experience, the work history, and the answers. But every new application wanted me to start over.
I work in systems and support engineering. Repeating solved work is the kind of problem I want to fix. This time, it was personal.
Why I'm building thisSAME PERSON.
ANOTHER
BLANK FORM.
Looking for work is already a lot of work. You research the company, decide whether a role fits, and try to explain what you've actually done. Then a new hiring platform asks you to enter your history and answers all over again.
After another application asked for information I had already written, I stopped thinking about the next blank field and started thinking about a better way to carry my work forward.
That became YourMove: keep useful information, bring it into supported forms, and leave the final answer and submission to the applicant.
Tell us about
your experience.
NOT JUST
AN IDEA.
The application exists beyond this page. Its source is public, its documented limits are visible, and its release readiness is tracked. You can inspect the work instead of taking my word for it.
KEEP
BUILDING.
The next meaningful step is getting a small group through a complete desktop application workflow, from preparation to their own submission and an accurate local record. Support helps make that work practical.
Time to build
Fixing the friction that shows up when a real person uses the complete application workflow.
Workflows that hold up
Testing supported employer forms, preserving saved work, and fixing observed failures.
A usable desktop beta
Preparing, distributing, and validating an installable build for an initial invited audience.
Next readiness target: November 6, 2026 · small invited Apple Silicon beta. A target, not a promised public download. Read the roadmap ↗
HELP MAKE
THE NEXT ONE EASIER.
If you've ever looked at another blank application and thought, “I already told you all this,” you know why I started. I want to turn that frustration into a tool people can actually use.
If you're looking for work and money is tight, please keep your money. Sharing the project or telling me what would help you is valuable too.
